Specimen SNH: This specimen has no hole at the lateral end of the osteotomy cut, which started on the medial side at 35 mm distally to the tibial plateau and finished 6 mm from the lateral cortex, 20 mm distally to the tibial plateau. The osteotomy cut had a thickness of 2 mm and the minimal thickness of the contralateral cortical bone was 5 mm
