Initially phage therapy was prepared against Multidrug-resistant Pseudomonas aeruginosa and methicillin-susceptible Staphylococcus aureus. However, operative samples confirmed MSSA but not Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Furthermore Enterococcus faecalis and Staphylococcus lugdunensis were also detected as numerous colonies (the authors reported treating these bacteria by antibiotics).
