Cells labelled with GFP and MCP-6 were observed in (A) and (B), which demonstrated that exogenous MC existed at that time. MCP-6 positive cells still existed in (C), but GFP positive cells were not observed, suggesting that endogenous MC accounted for the majority 7 days after the MC injection.
